It was so ridiculously crowded that it wasn't even enjoyable. No joke! Worse than Bourbon Street on Lundi Gras evening. Not sure what the answer is but that festival just doesn't work as is.
Was it laid out on the street? Long tables? Do they need a park or bigger space (like the fly)? Or was it just too well attended?
I think they really need a park or something but that would defeat the purpose of promoting Oak Street.
Did they at least have the streets blocked off? They have festivals like that up here all the time, and there just is never enough space. Of course, they also have "control issues" too because god forbid anyone have fun.
